Planning and Building Zoning Maps

Zoning Maps for Unincorporated San Mateo County

The Zoning Maps for the unincorporated areas of San Mateo County are organized based upon the Assessor Parcel Map Book pages. You will need to find the parcel number of the property you are interested in locating. The parcel number is organized by Book, Page, Block and Parcel. For the example of 083-231-120, the Book and Page are 83-23, the block is 231 and the parcel is 12. Click on the Book number below for your particular parcel and page down through the pdf of collected maps until you come to the Book and Page of your parcel, then locate the Block and Parcel. Generally the smaller parcels are in the Urban collection, larger parcels in the Rural collection. Just a note of warning that some of the Map Books below can be up to 6mb in size, so please take that into consideration when downloading.
